Q. How do i join?
You can join online, simply choose one of our great value memberships and complete the online joining process. If you’d like to chat through our membership packages with us then you can call us on 0330 3330 0555 or pop in talk to a member of the team.
Q. Am I tied into a contract?
If you join our membership you will be tied into a 12 month commitment (9 months with our student membership). After this your membership will continue until you notify us to cancel.
30 days notice is required when cancelling.
Q. If I join today can I use my membership straighaway?
If you join today, your membership will be active straighatay. Bookings for activities can be made online here.
Q. Is it free to park at your venues?
All our venues offer car parking which is free for custoemrs to use excluding Ponds Forge.
Ponds Forge operates a pay and display car park. However, members can purchase a parking permit to receive discounted parking on each visit. This can be purchased at reception for just £5 for the year, allowing four hours parking on each visit for just £1
Q. Do you have free wifi in your venues?
Yes, free wifi is available at all our venues.
Q. Do you have lockers in your venues?
Yes, lockers are available at all our venues.
- Concord Sports Centre - Padlock and a limited number of refundable £1 lockers
- EIS Sheffield - Membership band and a limited number of refundable £1 lockers
- Heeley Pool and Gym - Non refundable 20p lockers
- Hillsborough Leisure Centre - Refundable £1 (swimming pool) and membership band (members change) lockers
- Ponds Forge - Refundable £1 leisure pool and competition pool/gym lockers
- Springs Leisure Centre - Refundable 10p or £1 lockers
Q. Do you have a swim only membership?
We don't offer a swim only membership. All our memberships include access to the gym and swimming pools as a minumum.

Q. Will my card be sent by post?
We don't post out memberships cards or bands. This will be issued to you at reception on your first visit.
Q. Can I get a single venue membership?
Our flexible memberships allow you to try different activities and venues, so all 7 venues are included in all our membership packages.
Q. Do I still need a lifeCARD?
As a fitness member you will benefit from all the discounts offered with a lifeCARD. Therefore you do not need to renew your card while you have an active membership with us.
Q. What date will my direct debit be taken?
Direct debits are due on the 28th of each month. If the 28th falls on a weekend we will take the payment the following Monday. This is the only date we are able to take a direct debit.
Q. Do I need to book in advance?
All our activities are bookable online in advance. We'd recommend that you book your place in advance to guarantee you have access to your chosen activity.
If you do not book in advance we would only be able to allow you access if space is available on the session.
Q. Are there any additional benefits as part of your membership?
As a gym and swim member you can also benefit from the following as part of our memberships:

Q. What are the terms and conditions of the 3 month free fitness class offer?
If you include fitness classes in your membership this New Year you will receive the 3 months free. the following terms and conditions apply
- Offer available to new members only
- Available to upfront and direct debit members
- Not available in conjunction with any other offer e.g. Partner memberships
- Membership price will revert back to full price from month 4.
- Minimum terms apply. Membership cannot downgrade to remove classes within initial contract.
