Planned Maintenance of the Competition Pool at Ponds Forge in Summer 2023

As part of Sheffield City Council’s leisure strategy, essential maintenance work will take place in the Competition Pool Hall at Ponds Forge in Summer 2023 for approximately 8 weeks.

The maintenance work involves the replacement of essential pool equipment which is required for the facilities to continue to operate effectively.

The planned work does not affect other areas of the venue. The sports hall, gym, fitness studios and leisure pool will continue to offer a full programme of activity.

Our programming team are working on alternative timetables to minimise the disruption to customers and partners as much as possible.  Further details will be communicated to all those affected as Summer approaches.
