“Sporting activities are an important aspect in children and young people’s wellbeing and promoting healthy lifestyles, here in Sheffield we want to ensure that our young people get the exercise and nutrition that they need to keep them fit and healthy.

The free sports and activities programme during the Summer sponsored by Sheffield City Trust has been a first class opportunity for children and young people to access all kinds of fun with sport including Football, Cricket, Hockey, Tennis and many more, with lots of different sports and games taking place for all ages across the City.”

“I had an incredible time at Mount Pleasant Park in Sharrow when Sheffield City Trust hosted their Summer Sports activities. Witnessing the local youth enthusiastically participating in various sports in such a safe and inclusive environment was truly heartwarming. It’s crucial for our community to have opportunities like these to stay active and engaged, and I sincerely hope that providing youth with a positive and healthy outlet for their energy.”
