Sheffield Steelkings Para Ice Hockey Club

The Sheffield Steelkings Para Ice Hockey Club offers sporting opportunities to people with a lower body disability or impairment to take part in a fast, physical, highly skilled team sport. Players sit in a metal sledge that has two skate blades underneath. They move around the ice (and handle a puck) by using two special hockey sticks that have metal picks on one end.

As well as taking part in a physical activity where their disability or impairment doesn't hold them back or slow them down, players also see an improvement to their mental health as they mix with others and focus on being the best they can possibly be.

Sheffield Steelkings believe ice hockey is for everyone no matter what the background. If you can play, you can play!

First two sessions free! Then club fees apply.

For more information please contact Club Chairman, Jake Oakley at sheffieldsteelkings@gmail.com.
