Restarting Your Lessons

As a not-for-profit Leisure Trust, we are here to do everything we can to improve physical health and mental wellbeing for our customers. We're delighted that we have now been able to restart our children's coached lesson programme.

  • Childrens Lessons - Your lessons have now restarted (week commencing 19th April 2021). Your first direct debit will be on the 1st June 2021.
  • Adult Lessons - Due to current restrictions our adult lesson programme on the 17th May 2021 at the earliest. We will be in touch nearer the time to notify you of your first direct debit day.

How do I restart my lesson payment(s)?

As part of our lesson improvements, we will no longer be using a separate company, DFC, to process your regular payments. Our own Memberships Team will manage your Direct Debits going forward, providing you with an improved service.

To continue your lessons with us, we do require you to set up a new direct debit mandate with us; your previous direct debit mandate held with DFC has been cancelled. Therefore you will need to set up an account with us to enable us to process your direct debit.

1. Access your secure 'my account' area of the Sheffield City Trust website (N.b. Do not log in to Home Portal to try to update your details). If you do not have an online account. you can register with us herePlease note, it is important that the bank account holder logs in/registers to set up the direct debit

2. Once you are logged in to the website click the update child direct debit link to be directed to set up your direct debit. You will need to complete each of your childrens name and membership number. Your childs membership number will have been sent to you by email. Where you have more than one child on lessons with us please add each child to the form (using the blue + button). You must only complete the form once with all your childrens details.

3. Enter the sort code and account number of the debit card account you are making your monthly payments from, agree to the terms and conditions and direct debit guarantee and click the update button.

4. We will contact you via email once your direct debit has been set up. Due to the volume of accounts we need to work through, please allow up to the 15th May for your direct debit to be set up. You do not need to contact us before this time.

5. Your first direct debit payment will be taken on the 1st June 2021. Your future direct debits will be processed on the 1st of each month. If you have more than one service from Sheffield City Trust, these will now be combined and show as just one transaction on your bank statement rather than individual payments.
