Leisure Centre Re Opening Update - 31st July 2020

We're looking forward to seeing you soon…

Following careful consideration of the latest coronavirus guidance, we're really excited to announce that we'll begin the phased reopening of our leisure facilities in the next two to three weeks.

In March, we opted to temporarily shut all of our venues to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff, customers and the broader community. The response from all of you has been fantastic throughout. We've loved seeing you get involved with our workouts and challenges on social media. Once again, it makes us proud to support this great city.

As a leisure trust, we work closely with Sheffield City Council who retain ownership of the buildings which we operate. Any reopening plan must not only be safe, but also sustainable. And, the people of Sheffield must always come first.

Since we closed our facilities, we've been working really hard alongside Sheffield City Council and Public Health England to finalise a plan that allows us to carry on serving the community and fulfilling our goal – improving the health and wellbeing of Sheffielders.

We’re a charity, and we rely on the support of our members. We really do appreciate all of your patience and understanding over the past few weeks whilst we’ve been working with our partners to finalise our reopening plan.

Both the leisure and entertainment sector has been hugely affected by coronavirus. We hope that over these next few weeks you'll continue to bear with us and understand the challenges that we faced.

Nevertheless, we remain as committed to Sheffield as ever, and we know that with your support we can continue helping Sheffielders stay active and feel good.

We really can't wait to see you all again soon.

Further details regarding opening, booking requirements and all the safety measures we've put in place will be announced soon. To keep updated with the latest news, sign up to our mailing list here.
